A comedy adaptation of The Time Machine is headed to Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre this March 2024.

Gloucestershire theatre fans will finally be able to see the West End hit, The Time Machine — A Comedy, when the must-see show comes to Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre this spring 2024.

Running from Tuesday 27 February to Saturday 2 March 2024, this new stage production is a comedic adaptation of HG Wells's post-apocalyptic science fiction novella, about a man who travels to a disturbing future.

In this new take, a highly skilled group of actors embark on a journey of a lifetime, will George persuade the others to stick to the script he’s worked so hard on? Will Michael be able to explain time travel without the help of excessive props? Will Amy get to sing her Cher tribute?

And ultimately, will they be able to defeat the space time paradox — or at least get through the second half?

The production is brought to audiences from the team behind the smash hit comedy The Hound of the Baskervilles and the award-winning theatre company Original Theatre (Murder in the Dark, The Mirror Crack’d, Caroline’s Kitchen, Invincible, The Habit of Art).
