Heading to the Everyman Theatre for the first time, Samuel Beckett’s 20th-century classic Waiting for Godot promises to be a production that’s as fresh and urgent as ever.
Running from Thursday 7 to Saturday 16 February 2019, the iconic play stars Alan Digweed (also known as Tweedy the Clown) in the role of Estragon, and will be presented by The Everyman Theatre Company.
A ‘triumph of 20th-century literature’, Waiting for Godot is a story about the struggle for purpose, power of friendship, and hunt for a pair of boots.
Directed by Paul Milton, the anticipated play is set to deliver compelling entertainment in Cheltenham, and offers the chance to see the hugely-popular Tweedy in a very different role.
