Marking the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI, Cheltenham Bach Choir will take to the stage to perform Verdi’s dramatic Requiem, this autumn.
The concert takes place on Saturday 10 November 2018, offering the chance to hear the iconic piece. Uplifting and exciting, Verdi’s Requiem features incredible rhythms, sublime melodies and vivid contrasts, expressing the strong emotions which are created by the text.
What’s more, Cheltenham Bach Choir will be joined by four international soloists, soprano Luci Briginshaw, mezzo-soprano Catherine Carby, tenor Oliver Johnston, and baritone Michael Mofidian; along with the Regency Sinfonia.
Conducted by David Crown, music lovers can look forward to spectacular entertainment at Cheltenham Town Hall, taking place on the eve of the centenary of Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
