Gloucester Guildhall and Audio Junk Food's Underground Festival returns to Gloucester this March 2025, giving music fans the chance to discover some of the UK's best new alternative artists, right here in the county.
Having previously hosted huge names such as Bastille, Lower Than Atlantis and George Ezra, this year's festival brings some of the country's top underground rock, metal and acoustic music to Gloucester, across more city centre venues than ever before.
And thanks to grant funding secured by the Gloucester Guildhall team, tickets are available on a 'pay what you choose' basis starting at £5, making it affordable for everyone.
Buckinghamshire post-hardcore outfit As Everything Unfolds will headline Gloucester Guildhall, with Brighton-based alt metal two-piece, Lake Malice and top local bands Failstate, Death is a Girl, Aniya Falls and Red Swan.
Making its Underground debut, The Thirsty Pine hosts legendary Cheltenham punks 4ft Fingers as headliners along with Edinburgh pop-punk outfit happydaze, with support from Broken Jaw, Sorry Park, Sweetmouth, Redeemon and HKH.
Up-and-coming acoustic artists Lexie Carroll and Ellur head the bill at Blackfriars Priory, with indie-folk band Bottlemouth, folk-rock duo Saint Senara and singer songwriters Perkie and George Montague in support.
Cafe Rene will host a series of 'special' sets, headlined by south west emo rockers All Ears Avow alongside local favourites Mosaic, I, The Lion, Truck, Quadrodisco and Dan Cooper; with an after party at the Black Cat at Dick Whittingtons, too.
Taking place from 3pm on Saturday 29 March 2025, the event is open to anyone aged 14 and over, though under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
