Step aboard the 'unsinkable ship' and see the acclaimed stage adaptation of one of the nation's most tragic tales, as Titanic The Musical comes to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, from Tuesday 13 to Saturday 17 June 2023.
Hoping to move, entertain and most importantly, fill the audience with the emotion of having seen the worst but also the best of what human beings can accomplish, the production focuses on the hopes, dreams and aspirations of her passengers who each boarded with stories and personal ambitions of their own.
The story follows those innocently unaware of the fate awaiting them, from the immigrants dreaming of a better life in America and those imagining they too can join the lifestyles of the rich and famous, to millionaire Barons of the First Class anticipating unstoppable legacies.
This year, the production is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its London premiere, in which it won critical acclaim across the board.
With music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and two books by Peter Stone — Woman of the Year and 1776 — the pair have collectively won a mass of awards including an Academy Award, an Emmy Award, an Olivier Award and three Tony awards.
