Audiences can enjoy a dose of Shakespeare under the stars this summer, heading to Victoria Gardens in Tewkesbury to see Oddsocks’ musical, sci-fi adaptation of The Tempest.

Bringing the Bard’s tale to life on Saturday 25 August 2018, theatre goers can expect a story of illusion and vengeance; marooned in a galaxy far, far away with his daughter Miranda and some aliens, Prospero seeks revenge when his enemies’ ship passes by.

When the crew crash lands in a meteor storm, Prospero’s enemies try to escape, but can they beat him?

Described as ‘one small step for man, one giant leap for Shakespeare’, Oddsocks’ show is set to be an innovative and exciting adaptation of a classic.
