Harnessing the power of The Force, The Studio Orchestra brings a must-see performance for Star Wars fans to The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse on International Star Wars Day, Saturday 4 May 2024.
Performing powerful pieces from the Star Wars film franchise, with scores from The Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker — plus new additions to the catalogue from The Mandalorian, Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story — audiences are in for a truly melodic treat.
Conducted by artistic director and principal conductor of The Studio Orchestra, Jack Campey, the handpicked 70-piece orchestra is a spectacle of both sight and sound.
Jack commented: 'Following the huge success of our Hans Zimmer concert last September, we are delighted to return to The Centaur to perform music from the greatest movie franchise there's ever been.
'We will be one of the only orchestras ever to perform music from all nine episodes of The Skywalker Saga, plus music from the wider Star Wars universe.
'With a stunning lighting design combined with John Williams' incredible music, this will be a concert like no other.'
Providing the perfect setting for this special one-night-only concert, The Centaur venue is located within Cheltenham Racecourse and has hosted awards ceremonies, high-profile exhibitions and concerts with a 2,100 seating capacity.
The concert begins at 7.30pm with a running time of approximately two hours and 15 minutes, with a 20-minute interval.
Ticket prices range from £23.22 to £59.40 per person. For more information and to book, visit thestudioorchestra.co.uk/themusicofstarwars.
