Known for hits like ‘Perfect 10’, ‘Don’t Marry Her’ and ‘A Little Time’, fans of The Beautiful South were left disappointed when the band split back in 2007. But, following a reshuffle and the introduction of a new name, The South are now back on the road ready to perform the hits which shot them to fame back in the 90s.
The group are heading to Gloucester Guildhall on Thursday 4 October 2018 as part of a UK tour to celebrate their 20-year career; promising to play hits including ‘Old Red Eyes is Back’, ‘Good as Gold’ and ‘Rotterdam’.
The nine-piece band includes original The Beautiful South singer Alison Wheeler and sax player Gaz Birtles, who now sings vocals, following the departure of former frontman Dave Hemingway in 2016.
Please note, this gig was originally scheduled for Saturday 25 August 2018 and has been rescheduled.
