The six-piece alternative rock band Sea Power – formerly known as British Sea Power – have confirmed a series of UK dates, including a return to Gloucester on Thursday 28 October 2021.
Compared to the likeness of bands such as The Cure, Joy Division, Pixies and Arcade Fire, the group will be road-testing new songs and generally exploring the Forest of Dean, enthusiastically seeking Sabrina, goddess of the River Severn.
Since forming in 2000, the band have been famed for their live performances, eccentricity and unusual lyrical content – and guests can expect no less from the Brighton ensemble at the Guildhall this year.
The show was originally meant to go ahead in May 2020 but due to Covid-19, had to be rescheduled. All original tickets will remain valid for this show.
