Let down your hair and enjoy some open-air theatre at Painswick Rococo Garden this August bank holiday, as IK Productions brings its ‘delightfully daft’ adaptation of Rapunzel to the Gloucestershire attraction.
Expect encounters with wicked witches and loveable trolls as Rapunzel plots to break free from her tower and explore the wonderful world outside – with two chances to catch the show at 11am and 2.30pm on Monday 29 August 2022.
Breathing new life into the classic fairy tale story in its trademark slapstick style, IKP promises to deliver big laughs for all ages, with lots of physical humour, puppetry and plenty to keep the grown-ups entertained as well.
Families are encouraged to pack a picnic and bring something to sit on – and remember to come dressed and prepared for all weather!
Tickets must be booked online in advance via rococogarden.org.uk/rapunzel, but please note, a separate admission fee applies for those wanting to explore Painswick Rococo Garden too.
