Set to take place in Pittville Park on Sunday 15 May 2022, the family-friendly picnic will be making its much anticipated return to Cheltenham.
Against the backdrop of the historic Pump Room, visitors can expect live music, stalls, a dog show, and food and drink on Pittville lawn, and will offer a fun-filled event for all to enjoy.
With Anya McKenna, Pride in Gloucestershire’s marketing and communications director, saying people should ‘expect great company, yummy food and fabulous entertainment!’
The family-friendly event will be a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, voicing a welcoming atmosphere, whilst spreading awareness of LGBTQ+ issues through education, information and entertainment.
Pride in Gloucestershire will be the first Pride in the UK to host a series of mini events at various locations across its county. With the Cheltenham event kicking off the series, people can expect three more thrilling picnics across Gloucestershire this summer 2022.
