Theatre fans are in for a treat this summer when Eastnor Castle hosts two outdoor theatre performances, offering the chance for audiences to roll out a blanket, set up a picnic, and settle down for some alfresco entertainment.
The first show will be Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights on Sunday 30 June 2019. Presented by Heartbreak Productions, the play follows the love affair between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, and the latter’s vengeful scheme to get revenge when she betrays his heart.
Meanwhile on Sunday 11 August 2019, David Walliams’ bestselling book Gangsta Granny will be brought to life. Heartbreak Productions will tell the story of Ben and his Gangsta Granny, and their attempt to steal the crown jewels.
Audiences are invited to take along a picnic rug or low-backed chair for the theatre events, with picnics welcome.
