Described as ‘Downton Abbey with gardening tips’ Old Herbaceous offers delightful entertainment and is set to visit The Garden at Miserden for an alfresco show this summer.

Theatre goers can settle down for an open-air performance on Saturday 14 July 2018, with Old Herbaceous telling the humorous love story of a single-minded yet gentle man with a passion for plants.

Featuring plenty of witticisms and epithets, Old Herbaceous promises tender and traditionally understated English humour, and is sure to keep audiences captivated, amused and emotionally engaged throughout.

Having delighted sell-out audiences across the country over the last two years, the one-man play stars renowned actor Giles Shenton as legendary head gardener Herbert Pinnegar. His performance has been hailed by BBC Radio as ‘not to be missed’.
