Championing Cheltenham's incredible local music scene, Audio Junk Food is hosting the first-ever Crosstown Traffic multi-venue festival this March 2025.

The inaugural event features five stages at five grassroots venues across Cheltenham, showcasing 23 'Shiregrown' artists and bands from across the county — including some of the most exciting up-and-coming acts before they hit the stage at 2000trees later this year.

Kicking things off on Friday 28 February, The Steam and Whistle hosts 'The Night Before' exclusive preview evening with performances from Maisons; Nostalgia Bias; Mirages; Dhalia; and headliners Truck.

On Saturday 1 March in the afternoon, The Frog and Fiddle hosts the 'Rising Stars' stage featuring Last Safe Moment; Hest; Bluntnose; Oxblood Moon; and Sweetmouth, then in the evening, the 'Headliners' stage sees Toast; San Demas; Failstate; I, The Lion; Lickshot; and Death Is A Girl tearing it up in the barn.

Smokey Joe's is home to the Nashville-inspired Songs & Stories stage — featuring Jackson and Polly from Nostalgia Bias; Sophie Kay from Sophie & The Sticks; Jamie and Dom from Truck; George Montague; and Saint Senara all performing songs in-the-round and sharing the stories and inspiration behind their music.

The Bottle of Sauce hosts 'The House Party' with performances from Becca Kate; Sam Swancott; Kaiju Blue; and Dizzie.

And closing out the event, inviting artists and audiences to let their hair down and hit the dance floor, Cheltenham's only alternative club 2 Pigs is hosting the official afterparty both nights.

General admission wristbands cost £12 each and provide access to all five venues; while student wristbands cost £7 with a valid NUS ID.

Wristbands are available to buy via Fatsoma and collect from The Steam and Whistle on Friday 28 February and The Frog and Fiddle on Saturday 1 March 2025.

Entry to each venue is first-come, first-served, so organisers advise arriving early if there's an artist you really want to see.
