One of reggae’s undisputed pioneers, Lee ‘the upsetter’ Perry will be performing live at Gloucester Guildhall on Friday 19 November 2021.
Working with everyone from the Heptones and the Skatalites to the Clash and Bob Marley, Perry is regarded with awe throughout the music world as one of the most enduring and original reggae producers and artists of all time.
In his plethora of newer material, Scratch touches on his favourite themes of extra-terrestrials, judgement, justice, corruption, carnality and self-proclamation, all over some reggae beats.
Gloucester music fans will be able to see his remixes come to life in person, recalling African roots as well as the vastness of outer space.
