The ever-popular Fantasy Forest Festival is returning to Sudeley Castle this July 2023 for a weekend of family-friendly fun.

The popular Fantasy Forest Festival is back this summer 2023, with three days of fairy dust and and science fiction promising to transport visitors to whole new world!

From Friday 14 until Sunday 16 July 2023, the grounds of Sudeley Castle are transformed into a paradise for fantasy fans and festival-goers, with the sounds of storytellers and live music filling the air from four stages, alongside the dramatic sights of costumed characters, lightsaber battles and more.

There's a packed schedule of activities and performances, with visitors able to witness the spectacle of the Wicker Fire Ceremony lighting up the sky on the evening of Saturday 15 July 2023.

Then on Sunday 16 July 2023, new for 2023, The West End Kids perform hits from The Rocky Horror Picture Show; while the highly-acclaimed 70-piece Film Orchestra returns for a live, two-hour alfresco concert — this year with a 40-person choir, too!

Performing favourites from fantasy films, TV shows and games including Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, World of Warcraft and Dr Who, the show promises to be one of the festival's most unmissable highlights.

Retail therapy is also covered at the event as visitors can browse the largest fantasy market in the UK, with over 100 stalls selling everything from Dungeons and Dragons dice, LARP equipment, to handmade leather goods; with craft workshops taking place across the weekend, too.

The whole family is welcome, with children under seven able to attend for free – and dogs are allowed in most areas, providing they remain on a lead and owners clean up after them.

Day tickets cost from £19.95 for adults and £10.95 for children, while three-day weekend tickets cost from £48.95 for adults and £24.95 for children.

Campsite tickets have already sold out, but day and weekend tickets, along with shuttle bus transport to and from the festival grounds, can be booked in advance online at fantasyforest.co.uk.
