Four days of jam-packed entertainment including sensational live music, bountiful beer and ciders, and the annual Chilli Cook Off will all be taking place in a giant yurt at Crown & Sceptre from Friday 19 to Monday 22 April 2019.
Food and drink at Easter Cornish Beer & Cider Festival 2019
Celebrating all things cider and beer, the festival will provide a stellar selection of boozy beverages to whet your whistle across all four days.
To eat, hot Cornish pasties will be available on Friday and Saturday whereas, pre-booked roasts are available between 1pm and 2.30pm on the Sunday. Firing up the heat, a barbeque is available from 3pm on the Sunday, as well as the Chilli Cook Off in the afternoon and evening.
Live music at Easter Cornish Beer & Cider Festival 2019
Bringing the pub’s ‘gert yurt’ to life across the bank holiday, the weekend will feature unmissable live music including acts such as Frankly Skanky and Poundshop Life on Friday 19 April 2019.
Saturday’s highlights include The Dry Seamen and John Dalton, and Sunday will see Luke Philbrick & Solid Gone perform amongst others. Audiences who fancy having a go themselves can sing on the Little Big Open Mic, with booking essential.
Chilli Cook Off at The Easter Cornish Beer & Cider Festival 2019
Hotting-up on Sunday 21 April 2019, the esteemed Chilli Cook Off will start at 2pm where teams have four hours to cook up a storm and perfect their chillies. After the bell rings at 6pm, a panel of selected judges will treat their taste buds to each team’s chilli and crown one the winner.
Raising funds for the Idai Cyclone fun Mozambique charity, bowls of the seriously good chillies will then be available to purchase.
