Kicking off Cheltenham Festivals' 80th year, Cheltenham Jazz Festival brings the world's most talented jazz and jazz-influenced artists to the Regency town when it returns from Wednesday 30 April until Monday 5 May 2025.
Its vibrant festival village takes over Imperial Gardens for the six-day celebration of all things jazz, where visitors can see the biggest names under the Big Top, including Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Beverley Knight, David Gray, Roger Daltrey, Lulu, Corinne Bailey Rae, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, the Guy Barker Big Band, Emeli Sandé, Lisa Stansfield, Katie Melua, Amadou & Mariam and the BBC Concert Orchestra; while rising stars Elles Bailey and Alice Armstrong, Ezra Collective pianist Joe Armon-Jones, Dutty Moonshine Big Band and more take to the Arena stage.
There's family concerts taking place across the bank holiday weekend, providing an ideal introduction to the exciting world of jazz music for little ears.
There are also a variety of concerts taking place at different venues across town, including Nubya Garcia and Curtis Stigers at Cheltenham Town Hall; up-and-coming artists from Cheltenham Festivals' year-round talent development programme at Parabola Arts Centre; the wildly popular late-night jazz jams at Hotel du Vin; and a series of shows at Dunkertons Cider including Lady Nade sings Nina Simone, Big Boy Bloater and Remi Harris — as well as the free '...around town' programme taking live music and pop-up events to pubs, bars and venues across the town centre.
