Returning for its third year, the unique Cheltenham 7s Festival is taking over Newlands Park on Southam Lane for a thrilling programme of events on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 July 2023.
The two-day festival caters to both sport and music lovers, with plenty of family-friendly entertainment, too.
On Friday there are charity events happening throughout the day, with an all-star rugby game in association with Rugby for Heroes and a 5k colour run in aid of Gloucester Rugby player Ed Slater, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. There's also live music from headliners Duke, Emma Vibes and Satellite Down.
Then Saturday is game day, with a full day of sports action and live music. Headlining acts including James Haskell, Radio 1's Gemma Cairney and Switch Disco, with sports competitions to enter or watch including rugby 7s, netball, dodgeball, rounders, five-a-side football, hockey and CrossFit.
Based at Newlands Park, the home of the Cheltenham Tigers, the festival also features an athlete’s village with stalls offering food, clothing and more, as well as bars, fairground rides, ice baths and massage tables.
Camping is also available on-site next to the main arena for over 18s only.
