The Cheltenham 7s Festival is back for a third year, bringing live music and sports together for two exciting days this July 2023.

The Cheltenham 7s Festival provides two days of sporting action and live music to enjoy, with stalls to browse and children's entertainment, too.

Returning for its third year, the unique Cheltenham 7s Festival is taking over Newlands Park on Southam Lane for a thrilling programme of events on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 July 2023.

The two-day festival caters to both sport and music lovers, with plenty of family-friendly entertainment, too. 

On Friday there are charity events happening throughout the day, with an all-star rugby game in association with Rugby for Heroes and a 5k colour run in aid of Gloucester Rugby player Ed Slater, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. There's also live music from headliners DukeEmma Vibes and Satellite Down.

Then Saturday is game day, with a full day of sports action and live music. Headlining acts including James Haskell, Radio 1's Gemma Cairney and Switch Disco, with sports competitions to enter or watch including rugby 7s, netball, dodgeball, rounders, five-a-side football, hockey and CrossFit.

Based at Newlands Park, the home of the Cheltenham Tigers, the festival also features an athlete’s village with stalls offering food, clothing and more, as well as bars, fairground rides, ice baths and massage tables.

Camping is also available on-site next to the main arena for over 18s only.

Times

Gates open 12pm on Friday and music starts at 2pm. On Saturday, gates open at 7am, with sport kicking off at 9am and music from 12pm to 1am

Admission

Adult tickets cost £46.99 for the full weekend including camping, £27.99 for a day ticket with a £5 add on for Saturday camping; while children's tickets cost £15.99. For those wanting to join a sports team, there is a fee of £37.99 per person which includes full festival access across the weekend.
