Theatre goers can head to Cheltenham Playhouse this spring to see a new adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ iconic story, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, directed by Rory O’Sullivan.
Taking to the stage in Cheltenham from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 April 2018, the play is an exploration of human frailty, set in 1955 in the hot Mississippi Delta where rich plantation owner ‘Big Daddy’ Pollitt is celebrating his 65th birthday.
Encompassing themes of loneliness, greed and jealously, as well as exploring the fear of impending death, the story sees family tensions unfold during the evening, until they reach boiling point.
Tennessee Williams’ personal favourite play, this compelling drama at Cheltenham Playhouse is set to offer a riveting show this April.
