Be transported back in time to ancient Rome 200 years BC, by Promenade Productions, where sneaky slave Pseudolous is set on being released from the house of Senex.

In order to gain his freedom, he must invent a clever plan to help his master’s son, Hero, to win over the beautiful Philia.

This hilarious tale of love, deception and mistaken identity is being performed from Wednesday 17 July to Saturday 20 July 2019 at The Playhouse Theatre in Cheltenham.

Paired with an award-winning score by Stephen Sondheim, audience members will recognise classic songs such as ‘Something Appealing’ and ‘Comedy Tonight’, in this witty and farcical drama.
