In just 20 years, Daylesford Organic has gone from a working farm to an award-winning national brand, championed for its focus on organic food and drink - and it's celebrating its special milestone with a two-day festival this June 2023.
From 10am on Saturday 17 June to 5pm on Sunday 18 June, Daylesford Organic is hosting the biggest and best event of its history.
The original farm in Kingham, which has grown into a top visitor destination with home and garden shops, restaurants and even a wellness spa, is hosting workshops, food stalls, attractions and family entertainment at what's its describing as 'a celebration to remember', with the festival set to be one of the most unmissable events of the summer.
With a reputation as one of the UK’s best organic food and drink producers, it’s no surprise that there's some good Gloucestershire grub on the menu, with street food from Arancina Pizzeria, Smoke & Braai, Now Now Food and Dalton Farms Ice Cream. Resident chef at ITV’s This Morning, Clodagh McKenna, is hosting a private summer banquet; while television chef, Romy Gill, is one of the many guest demonstrators at The Cookery School.
A highlight for all the family is of course the JCB dancing diggers, who will be getting in the groove twice a day. This world-renowned stunt show is a spectacle of acrobatics and artistry - with each digger weighing a whopping 80 tonnes!
Adults can make the most of the summer weather by relishing homemade cider at the summer bar or fly high on one of the highly-coveted hot air balloon rides.
The activity schedule also honours Daylesford's development into a multi-faceted venue promoting wellness, gardening and art. An impressive line-up of expert speakers are sure to spark an interest or two, while Orchard Sounds artists perform live music and comedy in the (hopefully!) summer sun.
Children will be well-occupied with entertainment experts, Sharky and George, on hand, as well as pony rides, animal meet-and-greets and a beehut building competition to satisfy young naturists - and the best part is, kids under 12 go free!
Then for dog-lovers, there's puppy yoga and the famous Daylesford Dog Show, where all dogs are welcome and there's no need to register in advance.
Celebrating the local community that has supported and celebrated its organic food revolution in the Cotswolds, visitors can even enter into the Summer Festival Competition; home-bakers and makers can compete in categories such as best sourdough loaf, best summer fruit jam and best decorated cake.
There is something for everyone at Daylesford; celebrate in style this summer.
Weekend and day tickets are available from £25, with discounts for local residents, too.
