One of Gloucestershire’s leading attractions, WWT Slimbridge will hold two Volunteer Open Days this spring as the centre expands to offer visitors even more.

Taking place on Wednesday 13 February and Saturday 2 March 2019, the open days will be a chance to chat to the team at Slimbridge and enjoy a guided walk around the centre to learn about the exciting opportunities to get involved with.

The award-winning attraction has 325 hectares of wetland and thanks to Heritage Lottery Funding, the centre will have nine brand-new immersive wildlife experiences, a 380-seat Living Wetland Theatre and the home of WWT founder, Sir Peter Scott, will also be opened up for visitors to explore.

There is a variety of roles available which are suitable for everyone from students to those who are retired. To register your interest for the Volunteer Open Days, please click on the website link below.
