Cotswold Farm Park’s flock will be saying goodbye to their winter coats and sporting a new look for summer – and little farmers can take in the sheep shearing process up close this May half term.
Curious visitors can catch the sheep shearing action every day from Saturday 28 May to Sunday 5 June 2022, with hour-long demonstrations taking place in the Animal Barn at 12pm daily.
Learn all about the shearing process, which will help to keep the Farm Park’s woolly residents comfortable now warmer weather is on the way, and what happens to the superb quality wool once it’s been shorn.
As a bonus, animal lovers can get stuck in with the littlest members of the flock and take part in bottle feeding at Cotswold Farm Park, with bottles available twice daily on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Farm Park’s entertainment team will also be inviting visitors to join them on their morning feed round, meeting on the Rare Breed walkway at 11.45am each day of half term. See the animals tuck into their breakfasts and have all your questions answered by the experts.
Tickets are available to book online via cotswoldfarmpark.co.uk, with sheep shearing included in the cost of admission.
