Cheltenham’s Regent Arcade shopping centre has Christmas all wrapped up this year, with more than 60 stores offering everything from the essentials to the extra special gifts, plus plenty of opportunities for late night shopping to boot.
Described as a ‘quintessential shopping experience’, expect to find something to suit all tastes and budgets here, from trinkets, perfume and jewellery to smellies, sweets and fashion from the likes of Sugar Loaf, The Perfume Shop, Ernest Jones, The Body Shop, Jessica’s Sweets and new stores River Island and H&M.
Plus, the centre itself will be decked out in traditional Christmas style, with lots of classic reds, golds and blues, not forgetting its giant 30ft walk-through tree, promising to get shoppers into the festive spirit.
Normally open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sundays, Regent Arcade will be opening later on selected dates throughout November and December, giving locals the chance to avoid the queues and stress of shopping on busy weekends.
These dates include: Thursdays 5, 12 and 19 December 2013, when the centre is open from 9am to 9pm.
The shopping centre will also be open from 9am to 7pm on Thursday 28 November; Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 December; and Friday 20 and Saturday 21 December 2013.
Meanwhile, on Monday 23 December 2013, Regent Arcade will be open from 9am to 8pm, with the chance to pick up any last-minute gifts on Christmas Eve and bag the best bargains bright and early on Boxing Day from 8.30am to 6pm.
Then it’s business as usual from Friday 27 December 2013 onwards, bar on New Year’s Day, when it closes slightly earlier at 5pm.
Organisers say that individual store opening times may vary, so do check with the store directly if you’re planning on shopping somewhere specific.
