Celebrating the intrinsic relationship between man and nature, visitors to Gloucester’s Nature in Art are encouraged to experience the Natural World of Man – The Art of Conservation this summer, inspired by some of the conservation and environmental achievements of renowned artist, Peter Scott.
Running from Tuesday 26 July to Sunday 11 September 2022, those visiting the Georgian museum and art gallery can view pieces such as The Natural World of Man which depicts man’s dilemma regarding his relationship with nature, as well as Self-portrait with Humpbacks – with both works rarely seen in public.
What’s more, Peter’s work will be displayed alongside other well-known artists that also draw attention to some of his own environmental passions.
Nature in Art – the world’s first museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature – is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm every week.
