See the spectacular Light Eternal, created by world-renowned projection art gallery Luxmuralis, at Gloucester Cathedral this October 2023.

The world-renowned projection art gallery, Luxmuralis, brings a brand-new show to Gloucester Cathedral this October 2023.

Created especially for the cathedral, Light Eternal: Yesterday, Today, Forever brings its 1,000 year history to life through dazzling floor-to-ceiling projections across almost every inch of the building, accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack.

The immersive experience showcases the iconic building's incredible architecture and stained glass windows with projections around every corner, from sheet music illuminating the Quire to scripture adorning the walls of the Cloister — the famous filming location featured in Harry Potter.

Taking place in the evening from Thursday 19 to Saturday 28 October 2023, tickets cost £9.50 for adults and £6 for children aged six to 17 years old — while children under six can come along for free.

There are also a limited number of VIP tickets, which include either a glass of fizz or a soft drink and access to the Tribune Gallery, which provides unrivalled views of the light show from its unique vantage point high above the Quire, costing £20 for adults and £15 for children.

Refreshments are available throughout the evening, as are souvenirs to take home from this unforgettable experience.
