Featuring concerts, workshops and gala evenings this autumn, Flamenke will host an array of exciting events in Cheltenham between Thursday 21 November to Monday 25 November 2019.
Introducing flamenco to a wider audience, the Flamenke Festival is showcasing an impressive programme of dancing, singing and interactive sessions across a host of popular venues in town.

Saturday 23 November 2019 at Flamenco Festival
Workshops at Leisure at Cheltenham
Between 10.30am and 1.30pm, both adults and children can join in with dazzling flamenco workshops for the chance to experience the rhythms of Flamenco. Learn new moves and try out simple dance routines and clapping sequences from the professionals. Tickets are between £8 and £18 per person.
The Voice of Flamenco at Parabola Arts Centre
At 8pm, head to Parabola Arts Centre in Cheltenham to hear from the brilliant El Cañejo de Barbate, a contemporary Flamenco singer, and Angeles Rivera, a singer from Cadiz. Accompanied by Adrian Brenes and Nazaret Oliva as they perform traditional flamenco dancing. This show promises a fun and energetic evening. Tickets are between £15 and £22 per person.
Monday 25 November 2019 at Flamenco Festival
Spanish Classical Guitar at Parabola Arts Centre
Join Mexican guitarist Mauricio Díaz Álvarez and Flamenco dancer, María Pardo, at the Parabola Arts Centre. Starting at 7.30pm, the show will entertain music-lovers and introduce flamenco-newbies to a new genre. Internationally renowned and with a stellar career, Mauricio has performed across the globe and won many awards for his amazing talent. Tickets are between £15 and £22 per person.
