Back for another anticipated year, Cheltenham will play host to an award-winning exhibition of bespoke, contemporary furniture, as the Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design gets underway from Saturday 17 to Monday 26 August 2019.
Held at Cheltenham College’s Thirlestaine Long Gallery, the exhibition features the work of over 70 of the finest craftsmen and women, who will be showcasing around 300 unique and diverse pieces. The crafters will be exhibiting high quality furniture as well as complementary items from other disciplines such as jewellery, silver, sculpture and glass.
Now in its 25th year, the exceptional exhibition also gives up-and-coming designers the chance to show off their skills, alongside more famous names in the bespoke furniture business.
The eclectic exhibition offers something for all tastes, with styles ranging from simple and sleek, to flourishing and fancy. What’s more, there will be the chance to discuss the pieces with stewards and a selection of exhibitors, who will be on hand to discuss the works and possible commissions.
