Workplace stress is one of the most significant contributors to poor mental health in the UK. Find out how to help your employees at a free workshop in Stroud this October 2024.

The Growth Hub Gloucestershire is helping businesses identify stress and burnout in the workplace this October 2024.

According to official figures, illnesses related to mental health cost businesses in the UK £51 billion each year.

Stress is a significant contributor to poor mental health in the workplace — and 44 per cent of employees state that work can add to their stress levels.

This free workshop from The Growth Hub Gloucestershire will show managers how to support an employee who might be stressed and discover how to recognise the symptoms of burnout.

Attendees will learn how to spot the signs that people are struggling; find out what the legal requirements are regarding stress; and discover practical tips on mitigating the risk of workplace stress.

Aimed at HR staff, line managers and business owners, the event is being run by a workplace mental health specialist and takes place on Friday 4 October 2024 from 10am to 12pm at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College.

Places are free and can be booked online in advance at The Growth Hub's website.
