Leading Gloucestershire-based accountancy, audit, tax, advisory and risk firm, Crowe, is hosting a free webinar on how to make homes safer and more energy efficient this January 2024.
Taking place online on Thursday 18 January 2024, the Safer and Greener Buildings webinar will cover the different tax reliefs and capital allowances available to help property owners and developers with safety and energy efficiency improvements, such as cladding remediation; fire doors; electric vehicle charging points; and biodiversity net gains — using case studies to demonstrate what can be claimed and how the purpose of buildings affects which reliefs are available.
The session will also cover the changes announced in the Autumn Statement and what Crowe predicts will feature in upcoming political party manifestos.
Crowe directors Adam Cutler and Stephen Metheringhan, and assistant manager Olivia Larson will be sharing their expertise in social housing, real estate, development, construction and capital allowances.
Adam said: 'This is an event that will appeal to home builders, housing associations and developers of both residential and non-residential buildings.
'It also has important messages for commercial and non-profit property investors that need to make improvements to their buildings, as well as operators of hotels, schools, care home operators, healthcare providers, manufacturing businesses, as well as other tenants and owner-occupiers seeking to make improvements to the buildings they occupy.'
The event is free to attend and anyone interested can register online via event.on24.com.
