Discover how to inspire loyalty and motivate your employees at the latest business breakfast, networking and workshop event from leading business coaching firm, ActionCOACH Cheltenham.
Delivered in partnership with Cheltenham BID and the Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce, this dynamic session gives Gloucestershire business leaders and senior executives an insight into how they can elevate their recruitment skills and actionable tips for keeping their staff happy.
The event kicks off at The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie on Thursday 2 November 2023, with breakfast included for all delegates. Think eggs Benedict and pulled honey-roast ham on English muffins!
Kicking off at 8am, the two-hour workshop delves into leadership tactics and inclusion strategies, proven to help business leaders recruit and retain a top-notch team.
Participants will come to understand why it's important to recruit people who have the potential to become 'raving fans' of their business; learn how to spot them during the hiring process; and discover how to make team members feel valued and included.
The session also explores the power of DiSC profiling, which analyses different personality and behavioural patterns in the workplace — not only useful when it comes to selecting candidates, but for creating a high-performance team that really understands and complements each other.
Delegates will leave The Ivy with a blueprint for creating a sustainable rewards programme, designed to energise staff without straining resources or causing leadership burnout.
The event is co-hosted by senior business coach, Neil Martin, from ActionCOACH Cheltenham; president and honorary HR advisor to the Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce, Sarah Cook; and Heath Gunter, chief executive of Cheltenham BID. Those taking part will have the chance to meet the hosts and discover new opportunities for growing their Gloucestershire business, too.
