Gloucester music charity, The Music Works, is inviting aspiring creatives to its free annual Creative Futures conference this November 2024 — where they'll get the chance to hear from and meet leading industry professionals.
Taking place at The Music Works Gloucester Hub on Thursday 14 November 2024, the event features panel discussions and invaluable networking opportunities with representatives from music industry heavyweights including BBC Introducing, Discord, Sony and Warner Chappell.
Panel discussions will cover how to thrive as an emerging artist; driving growth through live performance; supporting mental health and wellbeing in the creative industries; and creating successful social media strategies, with advice from leading voices and industry experts.
Susie Woodbridge, A&R Manager for Warner Chappell Music described The Music Works as 'an incredible resource for young music lovers across Gloucestershire' with the hub providing opportunities for young artists to 'shape their creativity' and 'learn about the industry right on their doorstep' — with the Gloucester event providing unrivalled opportunities for local musicians to gain invaluable knowledge and connect with individuals in the wider music industry in their hometown.
Tickets to The Music Works Presents: Creative Futures are free but places are limited, with organisers recommending attendees pre-book their tickets online via Fatsoma to guarantee their spot.
