If your New Year's business resolutions include trying to be more environmentally friendly, then why not try going plastic free in 2025?
Said to be one of the trickier eco challenges to master, due to just how much single use plastic is found in shops and supermarkets, Cheltenham BID is bringing the tips and tricks to a networking event in January.
On Monday 13 January 2025, from 2pm to 4pm at Coffee#1 on the High Street in Cheltenham, environmental experts will be revealing all the steps you need to become plastic free and more sustainable at work and at home.
Speakers from Plastic-free Cheltenham and FoodLoose Cheltenham will share their hints and tips, and there'll be a chance to visit FoodLoose, the refill store on Grosvenor Terrace, too.
The event kicks off with hot drinks and cake during the usual BID business networking, followed by talks on going plastic free and then, to finish, a group trip to Foodloose from 3.15pm to 4pm, to find out just how to shop without taking home any plastic packaging.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite, costing £10 to non-BID businesses with Cheltenham BID levy paying businesses going free. Please note that there's a maximum of two tickets per business.
