People from across all sectors are being invited to join business leaders in the Forest of Dean for a festive chat and a mince pie at an annual 'jingle and mingle' Christmas networking event, this December 2024.
The event at the AccXel Construction School in Cinderford will be the final quarterly meeting of the Forest Economic Partnership (FEP) in 2024, with stakeholders from across the Forest of Dean's business community coming together to hear news and updates about the FEP's project work.
Coming in December, the meeting will have its annual festive spin with locally made mince pies, freshly mulled apple juice and tea and coffee available for attendees to enjoy as they network.
Starting at 5pm, FEP leadership will share updates from its two subgroups, Education & Skills and Climate Action & Net Zero, along with their project work.
The event will then give attendees the chance to network while enjoying the festive refreshments.
A not-for-profit organisation launched by Forest of Dean District Council in 2018, the FEP works to cultivate a thriving economy in the district through collaboration between businesses, local councils and residents.
The evening is open to anyone who shares the FEP's vision of wanting the Forest of Dean to be a 'vibrant and thriving place to live, work and do business', with no requirement to live in the district.
Anyone who would like to volunteer their time and get involved in the FEP's subgroups is also welcome.
Those looking to attend the event should register their interest via the Forest Economic Partnership website.
