Gloucestershire cyber expert North Green Security is hosting an insightful event this September 2023 to help SMEs become more cyber secure — and it's free to attend.

'Guarding the Gates: cyber security insights for small businesses' takes place at The Queens Hotel in Cheltenham on Wednesday 27 September 2023 and features talks from North Green Security's operations director, Kerry Cannon; director of The Cyber Resilience Centre for the West Midlands, Detective Superintendent Vanessa Eyles; founder of WiTCH, Illyana Mullins; and director of Risk Evolves, Helen Barge.

Aimed at business owners, directors, managers and executives, participants will have the opportunity to discover how cyber security fits into their organisation and how to protect against cyber threats, with guidance specifically tailored for small businesses.

Topics include cyber security risks small businesses should be aware of; the human elements of cyber security; security challenges facing small businesses; and how to spot a phish, with plenty of actionable advice to take away and implement.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other local businesses, with refreshments provided, too.
