Food for Thought — Gloucestershire's new government-backed community interest company aimed at helping the hospitality industry — is hosting its first event this September 2024.
Taking place at Ritual Roasters, its Meet the Buyer event brings local food and drink suppliers together with some of the region's top buyers.
Guests can hear from representatives of Midcounties Co-op, Creed Foodservice and Gloucester Services, who'll be sharing their advice and insights on how suppliers can position their products to meet buyer requirements — and stand out in a competitive marketplace.
The event is open to Gloucestershire-based food and drink suppliers, farmers and hospitality companies, including street food trucks and vans, providing a valuable opportunity to network with other local businesses, too.
Tickets are subsidised by Food for Thought's partners, including Made in Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire County Council and The Growth Hub, so all revenue is fed back into the local economy.
Meet the Buyer takes place from 10am on Thursday 19 September 2024 at Ritual Roasters on Lansdown Industrial Estate in Cheltenham.
Tickets cost £10 per person and are available to book via Eventbrite.
