In an event aimed at business owners and managers in the cyber and digital fields, this employer roundtable shares how to access the 'brightest and best' new talent in the industry.
Suitable for businesses considering offering apprenticeships and also those who already have apprentices on their teams, the launchpad was put together by the university to help unlock hidden cyber and digital talent by looking to address the skills gap and put forward-thinking ideas to the table.
The Cyber and Digital Launchpad was born and this year's event takes place on Wednesday 2 April 2025 from 12pm to 2pm at the University of Gloucestershire's new state-of-the-art FuturePark centre at its Park Campus in Cheltenham.
At this event, you'll hear from University of Gloucestershire computer science lecturers about their degree apprenticeships and find out how to join the university's community of innovative employers who are helping to support the next generation of cyber security whizzes, software and network engineering experts and eagle-eyed data analysts.
Sophie Burch, client manager at the University of Gloucestershire, said: 'Whether they’re completely new to apprenticeships or have already experienced their benefits, we look forward to welcoming employers wanting to find out more about how apprenticeships can help their businesses.
'Following the success of the scheme last year, the 2025 Gloucestershire Cyber and Digital Launchpad Employer Roundtable offers an exceptional opportunity to connect with other employers, meet our expert academics and find out about the unique support on offer.'
Tickets are free and include a buffet lunch — register a place in advance via the University of Gloucestershire website.
