Raising a toast to the return of Cheltenham Science Festival this June 2022, SoGlos is giving away a pair of tickets to the sold-out event, The Science of the Perfect Pint, on Thursday 9 June 2022.
One lucky winner and a friend will get to spend the evening at Cheltenham’s DEYA Brewery, where materials scientist Mark Miodownik and beer sommelier Natalya Watson will host a tour of the brewhouse.
Head brewer, Gareth Moore, will then reveal the secrets of the fermentation process and experimenting with flavour to create the perfect pint.
An ideal night out for chemistry buffs, beer aficionados or anyone who enjoys a pint or two, the sold-out event promises to be the one of the highlights of this year’s festival, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022.
There are 130 ticketed events from Tuesday 7 to Sunday 12 June 2022, with big names like Bowel Babe Deborah James, BBC The One Show resident scientist Marty Jopson and The Great British Bake Off finalist and engineer Andrew Smyth taking to the stage, alongside an exciting programme of free events across the festival village.
There’s even a free, outdoor theatre performance taking place on Cheltenham High Street, too.
