The Cotswold Sculptors Association is showcasing over 200 pieces of inspiring art at the popular Creating Spaces Exhibition in Miserden this June and July 2023.

Returning to the glorious 17th-century gardens at Miserden estate, the Cotswold Sculptors Association is bringing the Creating Spaces Exhibition to the Gloucestershire grounds for the second year running.

Taking place from Thursday 1 June until Sunday 30 July 2023, the exhibition includes more than 200 unique pieces of art, each created by members of the Cotswold Sculptors Association using a mix of traditional and modern techniques and materials.

Designed and built in 1620, the walled Garden at Miserden is a peaceful haven of greenery and fabulous floral displays, and the perfect backdrop for these remarkable sculptures.

Chair of the Cotswold Sculptors Association, Shirley Sharp, said: 'We are so proud to share the sculptures of our members. Each year the standard goes up a notch and this year is no exception.'

This year, the association has launched its first bursary scheme for artists, with its two winning beneficiaries showing their exciting, contemporary pieces for the first time at the exhibition.

The event also features a brand-new programme of creative demonstrations for visitors to be inspired by.

Indoor sculptures will be exhibited in the Miserden Club Room, located in the centre of Miserden village, just two minutes’ walk away from the gardens.

Please note, only assistance dogs can enter the grounds.
