Cotswold residents and tourists can look forward to the return of the Cotswold Hare Trail, when around 100 beautifully decorated sculptures spring up around Gloucestershire and beyond.
This year, the Cotswold Hare Trail teams up with Cotswolds AONB, and is dedicated to supporting conservation in the area; when the sculptures are auctioned off at the end of the trail, money will go to support the Cotswolds AONB.
Running from Tuesday 22 May to Sunday 9 September 2018, the fifth annual trail features an impressive array of eye-catching hares and leverets, each decorated by inspired local artists and placed throughout the Cotswolds in a unique art installation for all to enjoy.
Reaching across the county, this year’s trail will be bigger than ever before, reaching as far as Stratford-upon-Avon and Bath to the Forest of Dean and Oxford – offering even more opportunity to spot and snap photos of the fabulous figures!
Providing great fun for art enthusiasts, eagle-eyed youngsters, Cotswold visitors and residents alike, the Cotswolds AONB Hare Trail 2018 is the perfect chance to explore new attractions, market towns, quaint corners and rolling countryside – while seeking out the hares!
