And its luxury shepherd's huts, just a short walk away from the pub, offer first class accommodation with log burners, wood-fired hot tubs and homemade local produce hampers just some of the included highlights.
Its Cotswolds-inspired Christmas menu, available throughout December 2024, features starters like onion and cider soup with Welsh rarebit; Cornish mackerel pâté with cucumber, horseradish and rye bread; and Cotswold n’duja scotch egg with roasted red peppers and aioli.
For the main course, diners can enjoy 6oz aged rump steak with beef fat potato and forest mushrooms; barbequed Delica pumpkin with radicchio and salsa verde; or smoked haddock risotto with poached hen’s egg and English mustard.
And if there's still room for something sweet, indulgent desserts include warm clementine financier with mulled fruit compote and custard; affogato with milk ice cream and salted caramel chocolate truffles; and Gubbeen cheese with grape chutney and crackers.
