It's full steam ahead to family fun this autumn 2022, as SoGlos has teamed up with Great Western Railway to give away a fun family day out on the train from Gloucestershire.

One lucky reader will win a family ticket for two adults and two children to STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon, along with rail travel from a Gloucestershire station on a GWR service.

The interactive museum explores the history of the Great Western Railway and the people who built, worked on and used the pioneering network - including Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Visitors can get up close to iconic GWR locomotives; explore the painstakingly recreated Swindon Works to discover what it really took to run the railway; enjoy interactive exhibits including a train simulator and authentic GWR signal box; and step onto the 1930s station platform complete with Swindon-built engines, buffet car and immersive sound effects.

GWR operates an extensive network, connecting the people of Gloucestershire to destinations all over the country, from Cornwall to London. It also aims to make family train travel easier with free WiFi on all of its trains and fixed price family tickets for up to two adults and four children to various destinations, including London Paddington.
