From bushcraft skills to den making, children can enjoy a fun day out getting to grips with life in the countryside at CountryTastic 2024.
This
year's theme is farming heroes, with organisers encouraging visitors to come dressed as their favourite superhero.
The one-day show, aimed at children aged three to 15-years-old, takes place on Thursday 28 March 2024 and offers the chance to get up close to all kinds of farmyard animals and learn all about how farmers care for them.
There'll be everything from Exmoor ponies, alpacas, Pygmy goats, golden Guernsey goats and Lancashire heeler dogs to a variety of exotic animals.
Fans of tractors and farming can get stuck in at the Muddy Boots Theatre, where kids can get involved in a mock animal auction and learn about where food comes from with interactive cookery workshops showcasing everything from baking and chocolate to cheese.
Budding creatives can unleash their arty side with a variety of craft activities, while intrepid explorers will be able to discover their inner wild child in the activity zone, as well as embracing have-a-go sporting activities to help them burn off some energy and try something new, including Rugbytots ball kicking challenges.
To ensure there’s time to see and do it all, tractor and trailer rides and horse-drawn cart rides will whizz families around the stunning site at the foot of the magnificent Malvern Hills, too.
All tickets for CountryTastic 2024 must be bought in advance and the event usually sells out.
