Founded in 2017, Gloucestershire cyber security firm Salus Cyber has been handpicked as the security expert of choice in the UK for global brand RSM.
Salus Cyber has entered into a strategic partnership with RSM, formerly Baker Tilley and now one of the biggest names in the world of audit, tax and consulting with 35 UK offices and 37,500 people in 730 offices across more than 110 countries.
Cheltenham-based Salus, one of a growing number of firms putting the town on the map as the UK’s cyber capital, will help RSM become the UK’s ‘undisputed market-leading adviser in the middle market for cyber-security and technology risk assurance’.
Jason Kalwa, founder and chief executive officer of Salus Cyber, said: ‘The partnership will also help our existing clients access the breadth and depth of services that RSM can deliver.
‘Overall, it’s a great long-term move that will help and improve the nation’s cyber security.’
Sheila Pancholi, technology risk assurance Lead and cyber security partner at RSM, said: ‘Cyber risk is a real and growing threat.
‘With employees working remotely and not being fully safeguarded by corporate infrastructures, recognising and mitigating against cyber threats is more important than ever.
‘This key alliance with Salus Cyber, and the extended capabilities and expertise it will offer, will help secure the longer-term future-proofing and cyber maturity that many businesses now need.’
Founded in 2017 and based out of the UK’s cyber hub in Cheltenham, the Salus Cyber team deliver projects across sectors from autonomous underwater vehicle security to corporate business security transformation programs.
