Gloucestershire is home to Nature in Art, the world’s first museum and art gallery dedicated to works of art inspired by nature, with an impressive collection from more than 600 artists, located just outside Gloucester.
Housed in Wallsworth Hall in Twigworth, a fine Georgian mansion which is featured in Simon Jenkins’ book England’s 100 Best Houses, Nature in Art provides an extensive programme of events and activities throughout the year.
It is home the Hayward Coffee Shop, where visitors can sit down to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a generous slice of homemade cake, plus light lunches – with views over the sculpture garden and tranquil surrounding countryside.
