The Body Shop Shimmer Lotion review
Product of the week – A festive treat sure to put you in the mood for partying, The Body Shop’s Sweet Chestnut Shimmer Lotion is delicious.
While Christmas might bring to mind chestnuts roasting on an open fire, The Body Shop didn’t think the nutty treats should end there and have launched a line of Sweet Chestnut body care products which will put you in a festive mood from top to toe.
With the party season in full swing we gave their Sweet Chestnut Shimmer Lotion a sample with sparkling results.
Oozing an, unsurprisingly, heady aroma of sweetly scented chestnuts, The Body Shop’s golden cream, while thick and luxurious, soaks in surprisingly quickly. Containing fair trade Shea Butter from Ghana, the lotion offers silky smooth results to dry and frazzled skin.
When first applied, the impossibly sparkly Shimmer Lotion is in danger of making you look more illuminated than Blackpool however – so learn from our mistake and remember a little goes a long way.
Think Scrooge and you will achieve a more subtle finish that will dry to a delicate twinkle – adding a glamorous touch to your birthday suit, before your best party clothes are whipped out.
