You won't have to venture far as research conducted by spa directory website SpaSeekers has revealed the best dog-friendly spas in the UK — and a much-loved venue in the Cotswolds is featured.
With its dog-friendly suites that come with complimentary treats, food and water bowls and a pooch-perfect bed, The Lygon Arms makes the list at number three, just following Balmer Lawn Hotel and Spa in New Forest and Bovey Castle in Devon.
Just one of the many reasons to visit The Lygon, a spa break at the Broadway hotel offers relaxation in the form of luxurious treatments, a steam room and a sauna, alongside the 14-metre swimming pool and loungers that surround it.
There's plenty to explore away from the spa, too, with walking routes to tire out hyper hounds before heading back and freshening up at the muddy paws station in the courtyard.
The hotel's restaurant, Grill by James Martin, also has its own dog menu, featuring dishes of chicken, potatoes and gravy, beef steak with rice and sausages with peas — what a treat for good boys and girls!
These features were considered when curating the list, alongside social media research, with 1.2 billion 'dog spa' tags and a further 816.5 million 'spa day with my dog' posts found on TikTok.
Other inclusions in the list making up the top five are Alexander House Hotel and Utopia Spa in West Sussex and Armathwaite Hall Country House and Spa in Keswick.
