One of Gloucester’s main shopping centres has announced details of a contemporary rebrand, to realign itself in the market as a high-quality retail destination in the heart of the city.

King’s Walk Shopping Centre will now be known as King’s Walk Gloucester, and will be significantly transformed in 2019 when an enormous renovation gets underway improving the shop facades, signage and shopping centre walkways.

Management has confirmed that ‘several new retailers’ are interested in taking on a unit in the newly rebranded leisure and retail space.

The 175,000 square foot space has an annual footfall of almost nine million.

Peter White, Centre Manager for King’s Walk said: ‘rebranding the centre will help to build awareness, associations and ultimately customer loyalty.

‘The development seeks to create a high-quality retail environment and will form a catalyst for wider regeneration and opportunity. The rebranding is the first stage of this process prior to the works commencing.’
