Cheltenham’s swimmers will be able to take their first plunge into the heated waters of Sandford Parks Lido in March 2022, when it reopens for the summer season.
The lido will be opening its gates on Saturday 26 March 2022 – earlier than in 2021, when opening was delayed due to the Covid-19 restrictions – with family and open swim sessions available.
Organisers are keeping the price per week the same as it was for the 2019 season, as a thank you to swimmers for their commitment to the pool during the pandemic.
What’s more, Sandford Parks Lido will continue operating with a booking system in place this year, but will be offering longer sessions for open swims, alongside a higher capacity.
Season tickets will go on sale at 9am on Monday 28 February 2022, with an extra 10 per cent Early Bird discount until Monday 7 March 2022.
The Lido is set to be open from Saturday 26 March to Friday 7 October 2022.
